Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various systems and equipment across the property. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical components. Conduct welding, residential painting, and other mechanical repairs as needed to maintain property standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to diagnose electrical problems accurately. Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, including supervising team members when necessary to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain detailed records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for all maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility regulations during all maintenance procedures. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within the hospitality or manufacturing industry. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLCs, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge including welding, residential painting, and general repair skills. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities. Ability to read schematics and use tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance teams efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and vendors.
