Olathe, KS 66062 We're looking for a skilled, dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations and ensure our community stays safe, functional, and well‑maintained. If you have maintenance experience and hold a relevant certification (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar), we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Complete work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting Perform unit turns, including painting, minor repairs, and cleaning Support the Maintenance Supervisor with special projects and inspections Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment rooms Respond to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency Participate in on‑call rotation as needed Ensure safety standards and compliance procedures are followed What You Bring Maintenance certification required (EPA Type I/II, HVAC, CPO, or equivalent) Experience in apartment or facility maintenance preferred Strong understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently Strong communication and customer service skills Benefits Through BG Staffing Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options PTO or sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local laws Referral bonus opportunities About BG Staffing BG Staffing is a nationwide staffing firm specializing in the property management and multifamily industry.
