Just Hoods LLC is a hood cleaning company that cleans kitchen hood systems in all types of commercial kitchens. We complete the service to prevent fires from occurring in commercial kitchens. Just Hoods LLC is immediately hiring qualified kitchen hood exhaust cleaning applicants to service local accounts and travel from Kansas City to perform hood cleaning services within a 120 mile radius. When traveling, a company vehicle is used and the company also pays per diem and lodging. Cities of service include Wichita, Topeka, and Manhattan. Work is serviced between the hours of 7pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday nights. Experienced kitchen hood cleaners is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided. Previous experience with power washers or restaurant industry experience is a plus. Job Responsibilities Inspect and clean kitchen exhaust systems to the proper fire code. Cleaning full kitchen exhaust systems including: hoods, ductwork, access panels, filters, and exhaust fans. Setting up all equipment for the cleaning process: power washers, pump sprayers, plastic, chemicals. Completing projects to high standards with limited supervision at times. Complete proper documentation after each service of work performed, deficiencies, leaks, or repairs needed. Take before and after pictures of each service on company phone. Ability to work late nights or early mornings during changing restaurant hours. Must have attention to detail in the cleaning process. Maintain professional appearance and attitude while on the job. Work Experience and Requirements Valid Driver's License with good driving history. Must be dependable and on time. Must be able to climb ladders to get on the rooftop to clean fans. Must be able to work in hot and cold weather outdoors. Must be able to lift 25lbs. Must have good communication skills with customers and management. Compensation Commission based pay. Commission rate is based on your experience. Commissions average $20-$38 per hour and increases. Opportunity to work additionally during the day or on weekends.
