This role is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. As a Floor Technician, you will perform routine repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and assist in preventative maintenance efforts. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure facility operations run smoothly while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including equipment, fixtures, appliances, and building systems Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs proactively Respond to resident and staff maintenance requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner Assist in maintaining plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders Support the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in maintenance or a related field preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Supportive and collaborative work environment Grow With Us At Heritage Grove Estates, we are committed to developing our team members.
