We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who can operate advanced manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help drive continuous improvement across our production operations. What You'll Do Operate and monitor production equipment including Blendline, Slitter, Oven, Winder, and Cardline systems. Perform production startups for Filter House, Loptex, and Cardline operations. Understand machine adjustments and their impact on product quality and performance. Partner with Quality to improve products, reduce waste, and optimize production processes. Assist in training new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and production standards. Support team performance to ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Quickly diagnose equipment issues and restore production with minimal downtime. Perform repairs on plant machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain preventive maintenance programs and controlled documentation. Investigate and recommend solutions for engineering or mechanical issues impacting production efficiency. Install, maintain, and repair new and existing equipment, utilities, and facility systems. Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Maintain buildings, grounds, and facility infrastructure. Follow safe work practices, housekeeping standards, and company policies. Identify, report, and repair unsafe equipment or conditions. Collaborate with Production Management to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and other assigned duties. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or related military experience/training preferred. Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer proficiency and solid math skills. Ability to read and interpret operating manuals, maintenance instructions, schematics, technical documents, and safety procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with a commitment to quality and safety. Physical Requirements Routinely lift, push, and pull 30+ pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Use hand tools for maintenance and repair work. Work in manufacturing conditions that may include heat, cold, humidity, vibration, noise, airborne particles, and moving machinery. Why Join Us?
