Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated processes for optimal performance. Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment upgrades or facility modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general repairs to ensure a safe working environment. Supervise or collaborate with team members on large projects or complex repairs, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills. Requirements Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for minor repair projects. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting is highly desirable. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately. Prior experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
