Maintenance Technician

Job Title:

Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and installation of equipment. Responsibilities Repair and maintain machinery such as solution pumps, hoists, hot water boilers, air compressed equipment, and production machines. Maintain and troubleshoot solution tank control equipment, replace electrical units, and upgrade to new locations when required. Identify equipment malfunctions, isolate failure mechanisms, and repair equipment in the most cost-effective manner. Perform preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules. Install and remove process equipment as needed. Provide daily equipment functioning activity information. Disassemble instruments and equipment, inspect components for defects, align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry. Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. The candidate should be comfortable handling mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The role may require standing for extended periods and working in different temperature settings. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Elizabethtown, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00
