Responsibilities Fabricate custom signs using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and installation processes. Install signs on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and exteriors using appropriate hardware and techniques. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for large or complex installations, maintaining safety protocols at all times. Conduct site inspections to assess conditions, verify measurements, and ensure proper preparation before installation. Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, trimming, painting, or restoration to achieve a polished look. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of projects. Requirements Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation related to fabrication and installation tasks. Knowledge of construction management principles including safety procedures and site inspection protocols. Ability to work outdoors or at various job sites while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
