The Impact Youll MakeHelp Power the Future of Farming. 80 Acres Farms is looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician 3 to support our highly automated indoor farming operation. This is a senior-level hourly technician role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, solving problems in real time, and helping develop others on the team.

Youll work with advanced production systems, automation, electrical controls, pumps, motors, conveyors, and facility equipment in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated technician who takes pride in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

4 x10; SundayWednesday OR WednesdaySaturdayWhat Youll Be Responsible ForTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, plumbing, automation, and facility systemsLead complex troubleshooting and critical repairs in high-pressure situationsSupport continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and uptimePerform preventative and predictive maintenance activitiesUtilize CMMS to manage work orders, PM schedules, and maintenance documentationConduct daily facility walkthroughs and equipment inspectionsMaintain a safe work environment while following all safety, food safety, PPE, and LOTO requirementsOperate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and powered stackersServe as a technical resource and mentor for other maintenance team membersProvide backup support to maintenance leadership as neededAssist in planning and assigning work when the Maintenance Manager is unavailable or occupiedCommunicate effectively with management, engineering teams, and vendors regarding issues, root causes, and solutionsEnsure all work meets safety, quality, and operational standardsWhat You Bring7+ years of industrial maintenance experienceExpert-level experience with electrical and mechanical systemsExperience reading electrical schematics and using electrical testing equipmentWorking knowledge of industrial systems including motors, pumps, sensors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and control componentsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience using CMMS systemsKnowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programsAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments including ladders, catwalks, refrigerated spaces, and production areasHVAC or hydronic systems experienceWelding experience (MIG, TIG, stick, stainless, aluminum)Experience with water filtration, plumbing, and flow control systemsWorking at 80 Acres FarmsAt 80 Acres Farms, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our plants.
