Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at troubleshooting various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to uphold high standards of safety and quality. Preferred Experience will be a combination of welding, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct residential painting as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities. Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components. Operate logic controllers for automated systems, ensuring proper functionality. Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications. Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management. Experience Proven experience in a maintenance role or similar position is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with supervising teams or projects is a plus. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
