Job Description

Maintenance Technician $500 HIRING BONUS! Cottages of Henderson- Henderson, KY Burlington Capital Properties is currently reviewing applications for a Maintenance Technician at our Cottages of Henderson Apartment Community located in Henderson, Kentucky. We are seeking a qualified individual who takes pride and ownership in the work they perform and can provide friendly, quality service that our residents deserve. We value maintenance personnel who understand their individual and team impact on the overall success of the property. This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call rotation on evenings and weekends (on-call schedule to be discussed during interviews).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds per established procedures Regularly communicate with supervisor as to status of service requests, make ready units, etc. Complete vacant units to make ready status per established procedures Inspect all work performed by outside contractors Inspect and/or perform grounds maintenance ensuring high level curb appeal Continually monitor budgeted maintenance expenses Ensure that all Federal, State and County Health and Safety Codes, Laws and Standards are followed Regularly inspect laundry facilities, common area rest rooms, playgrounds, etc. to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness Maintain maintenance shop in a neat and orderly manner at all times Participate in resident functions as requested by Management Maintenance team members may be required to be "on call"
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required Trade school or associate's degree in related field a plus Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in maintenance or equivalent field required Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred HVAC certification preferred Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general building trades is required.
