Metalsa is seeking skilled industrial maintenance professionals to support our assembly operations. If you're dedicated to ensuring operational reliability and efficiency in a dynamic environment, this opportunity could be perfect for you! Position Overview The Assembly Maintenance Repair Technician (MRT) is responsible for maintaining and repairing assembly equipment, including automated fixtures and Fanuc robotics systems. This role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the seamless operation of assembly automation, contributing to production efficiency in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Required Qualifications Experience:
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience focused on assembly automation, robotics, and PLC systems.
Skills:
Expertise in PLC troubleshooting, robotics systems (e.g., Fanuc), schematic reading, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Assessment:
Must achieve a passing score on the Maintenance Exam administered by Metalsa.
Preferred Qualifications Education:
Associate degree or technical certification in a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting pneumatic systems, AC/DC control circuits, and ladder logic, with familiarity in assembly and welding processes.
Key Responsibilities System Maintenance:
Safely install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain assembly equipment, including robotics, pneumatic systems, and PLCs.
Equipment Repair:
Diagnose, replace, repair, test, and adjust assembly fixtures, robotics, and associated systems.
Preventive Maintenance :
Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Documentation:
Follow equipment manuals, complete work orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Tools & Equipment:
Operate hand and power tools, meters, forklifts, and man lift safely.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
