Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description We are seeking experienced Underground Duct Bank Technician to join our construction team. This position involves hands-on field work including conduit installation, concrete encasement, and coordination with excavation. Candidates should have hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following: Assist with installation of underground duct bank systems Install and assemble: PVC, HDPE, and rigid conduit systems Conduit spacers, supports, and fittings Handholes, pull boxes, and manholes Support concrete-encased duct bank installations Measure, cut, bend, and glue conduit to specifications Assist with trenching, excavation, and backfill operations Maintain proper conduit alignment, spacing, and elevations Install warning tape, grounding, and tracer wire as required Pull cable and assist with terminations when needed Read and follow construction drawings and field layouts Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good condition Follow all OSHA and company safety policies Participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions Qualifications Minimum 1-3+ years of underground construction experience. Basic knowledge of conduit installation and underground systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Working knowledge of construction safety standards. Ability to operate construction equipment as needed.
