Job Description
Job Summary:
The Pool Construction Technician is responsible for performing repairs, renovations, and construction-related tasks on residential and commercial swimming pools. This role requires hands-on technical skills in plumbing, electrical, structural, and finish work, as well as a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair pool plumbing, filtration, and circulation systems.
- Perform leak detection, pipe replacement, and equipment upgrades (heaters, pumps, filters, automation systems).
- Conduct tile, coping, and surface repairs (concrete, plaster, vinyl, or fiberglass pools).
- Inspect and maintain electrical components (lights, controls, automation) per local codes.
- Assist with pool construction projects, including excavation, plumbing, steel/rebar, and finish setup.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members, providing job updates and reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines. Required Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in pool repair, plumbing, electrical, or general construction.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Must be willing to travel out of town (Overnight compensation paid). Short notice sometimes required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
