Job Description

RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a General Maintenance Technician in our Morehead Location! This is a night shift role 6:30 PM-6:30 AM Dupont Schedule. Your Job The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities within an automotive manufacturing plant. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance. What you Will do in Your Role Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, robotics, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to minimize production disruptions. Maintain and repair facility infrastructure including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems. Document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts usage in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies. Assist in equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to 5S standards. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, and industrial controls. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed. What Will Put You Ahead Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field.
