In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead doors and related hardware across various commercial and residential sites. Duties Install overhead doors, including tracks, springs, openers, and hardware using hand tools and power tools. Perform precise measurements, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation to ensure accurate installation. Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed to customize door components or repair existing structures. Handle heavy lifting of doors, panels, and related equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Execute door hanging, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry to prepare sites for installation. Use electrical experience to connect openers and other electrical components securely. Complete fixture installation, caulking, locksmithing, and cabinet or fixture adjustments for optimal operation. Requirements Proven experience with glass installation, metal framing, or construction site work. Skilled in welding, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while maintaining safety standards. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical systems related to overhead doors. Construction or remodeling experience with carpentry, electrical work, or handyman skills preferred. Familiarity with lock systems, fixture installation, metal stud framing, and electrical wiring is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
