• Job Description
• As a Maintenance Technician , you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Responsibilities
• + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors. + Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. + Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. + Enter downtime data in daily log and complete preventative maintenance sheets. + Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment. + Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
