Job Description
We are looking for a maintenance worker to join our company. This person will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties, including maintaining green spaces, identifying the need for repairs, responding to the different departments maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment onsite and at customers locations. To be an effective maintenance team member, you must be skilled with various hand and power tools, hard-working, and with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates talents. This team member will report directly to the local Operations Manager. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance. Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to detect any repairs within the company's facilities. Perform basic tasks, such as painting, cleaning facilities, and managing maintenance repairs. Manage basic repairs and maintenance to company machinery, equipment, or appliances. Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks. Respond to different departments maintenance requests in a timely and a professional manner. Repair structures, basic plumbing, electrical, and safety systems when needed. Drive a forklift when necessary to complete daily tasks. Run errands for upper management if necessary. Check fuel tanks at customer locations as needed, inspecting pumps, hoses, and nozzles, level gauges. Always keep a good maintenance of our equipment and as per customer requirements. Maintain fuel tanks on site ready for delivery to customer sites, have labels in place, gaskets, level gauges, hoses, nozzles, pumps, etc. Inspect and repair fuel management systems at customer locations. Requirements TWIC (unexpired) Valid drivers license. Clean driving record. A minimum of 3 years of proven maintenance experience. Able to obtain industrial plants clearance. High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. Safety oriented. Skilled in working with hardware tools and power equipment. Professional presentation and attitude. Strong organizational skills and follow-up skills. Strong time management skills. Detail oriented with an aptitude for problem solving. Forklift proven experience. This employee may be required at times to work in heights. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, sometimes overhead. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and far vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
