Swimming Pool Construction Technician

Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated Swimming Pool Construction Technician to join our team. This role involves performing various manual labor tasks to support worksite operations, including plumbing pools, framing, ensuring job site cleanliness, and other essential duties. The ideal candidate exemplifies a strong work ethic, is able to meet the physical demands of this position, and exhibits an eagerness to learn the unique construction process of swimming pools.

Responsibilities Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with all phases of pool & hardscape construction, such as site layout, measurement, excavation, plumbing, backfilling, forming, steel tying, concrete placement, rigging, and installation. Utilizing construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks effectively and efficiently. Transporting materials and equipment safely between locations. Operating a variety of tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and various hand tools, with proficiency and adherence to safety protocols. Performing other manual labor tasks as directed by the foreman or supervisor. Strictly adhering to all safety regulations. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by removing trash, excess building materials, and other potentially hazardous products. Qualifications Must possess the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, which include working outdoors in the elements, lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for extended periods. Prior experience in swimming pool construction, plumbing, or electrical work is preferred. Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience are a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred. Prompt and punctual attendance at the shop is required. Strong attention to detail is essential. Excellent hand-eye coordination is necessary. Demonstrated strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Must hold a valid driver's license in good standing with no serious traffic violations. Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations at all times.
