Come join our team! This position is eligible for a $1,500 sign-on retention bonus! Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical and be able to work full-time, 40+ hours per week. The hours for this position are 7 am-3 pm Monday-Friday. (Overtime and weekends as needed.)
Salary:
Start at 27/hr. Given the nature of our business and the heavy industrial market, Bodycote deems this position safety-sensitive.
Position Summary:
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following. Implement the facility's preventative maintenance program Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid levels, water flows, quench oils, filters, washer soap and similar items; notify supervisor of issues as needed Maintain clean and organized environment in the Maintenance Department work area; promptly clean up after maintenance and repair work is completed within the facility Assist in equipment performance testing per companywide and manufacturer's guidelines Perform corrective actions required for out-of-specification conditions as directed by supervisor Assist in analytical troubleshooting of issues to maintain equipment, facilities and vehicles Accurately record and document all completed maintenance, modifications, and repairs Maintain shop copies of manuals and blueprints in a neat and organized manner; provide others with updated information as required Run company errands and pick up equipment, materials, and supplies as required Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner Promptly report observed equipment, facility, and vehicle repair or maintenance needs to supervisor Make suggestions for changes which would help the facility achieve improved efficiency, quality, and safety Assist in maintaining the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer's inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage. Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
Qualifications:

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
Necessary experience:
o Basic electrical skills AC/DC, o Mechanically sound with hand and power tools o Stainless gas piping/valves o Water cooling systems o Hydraulic/pneumatic systems o Lock out/tagout o Confined space training a plus Education - High school diploma or equivalent May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language
Physical & Mental Demands:
The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following. Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment. Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
