Machine Maintenance Technician - Custom Plastic Extrusion Edgestone Staffing is partnering with a well-established custom plastic extrusion company known for its strong team culture, clean facility, and commitment to quality. We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join their growing operation.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours)

Overtime:

Available on Fridays as needed

Pay Rate:

$22-$25/hour

ASAP following interview with the hiring manager Position Overview As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping extrusion lines and supporting equipment running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and maintaining high-performance manufacturing systems. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plastic extrusion machinery and related equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Maintain extrusion lines, including heaters, cooling systems, conveyors, and downstream equipment Ensure all maintenance work meets safety standards and regulatory compliance Accurately document maintenance activities in the CMMS system Work collaboratively with production teams to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in plastics or extrusion manufacturing Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret schematics Experience with electrical systems, motors, and controls (PLC knowledge is a plus) Familiarity with hydraulics, HVAC systems, and precision measuring tools is preferred Ability to safely work with both high and low voltage systems Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Why Join This Company?
