Maintenance technician role responsible for preventive maintenance, machine repair, replacement part installation, breakdown analysis, and equipment modification support. Job Requirements Experience performing preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines Experience cleaning machines and machine parts, including removing and reinstalling components Experience oiling and lubricating moving machine parts Ability to identify damaged, worn, or broken machine parts Experience ordering and installing replacement parts Ability to identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns Experience repairing machines efficiently Ability to prepare maintenance and repair reports Ability to maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies through cleaning, organizing, inventorying, and stocking Ability to coordinate scheduled machine maintenance Experience supporting machinery modifications for new products or process changes Ability to perform test runs and make additional equipment alterations as needed Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Stable work history Preferred Skills Preventive maintenance scheduling Machine troubleshooting and repair Replacement part management Equipment modification and test runs Maintenance reporting Shop organization and inventory control Coordination with plant engineering or product teams Job Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines Clean machines and machine parts, including removal and reinstallation of components as necessary Oil and lubricate moving machine parts to maintain performance Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts Order and install replacement parts for machines Diagnose causes of unexpected machine breakdowns Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently Prepare reports documenting maintenance and repair work performed Clean, organize, inventory, and stock shop areas, tools, parts, and supplies Coordinate with managers to schedule regular machine maintenance Work with plant engineering or product management on equipment modifications for new products Perform test runs and make additional machinery adjustments as required Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
