$30 - $38 per hour Job Details - We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the functionality and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment and systems. Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance. 2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to manufacturing equipment, including motors, conveyors, and other machinery. 3. Troubleshoot electrical problems in the manufacturing equipment, including wiring, switches, and control systems. 4. Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs, keeping detailed records of performed maintenance tasks. 5. Collaborate with the production team to coordinate maintenance and repair work and ensure minimal disruption to production schedules. 6. Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with all safety regulations within the plant. 7. Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring proper setup and functionality. 8. Recommend improvements to maintenance policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. 9. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls during both regular business hours and off-hours.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting. 2. Strong mechanical skills, including experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, and other manufacturing equipment. 3. Solid electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues related to wiring, switches, and control systems. 4. Experience in implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and fix issues quickly and efficiently. 6. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills. 8. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions. 9. High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical training or certification in mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.
