Monday-Friday Every Other Weekend Required Location:
Lexington, MA As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an essential role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of our community. From responding to maintenance requests to helping maintain common spaces and grounds, your work directly contributes to the comfort and well-being of our residents and staff.What You'll Do:
Execute daily maintenance and environmental services plans Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks throughout the community Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders Maintain cleanliness of common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces Assist with groundskeeping, parking areas, trash, and recycling operations Properly handle equipment and follow safety procedures Complete required documentation and submit maintenance reports daily Support emergency response needs within the residence as needed Work collaboratively with leadership and team members to uphold Youville's high standards of hospitality and resident careWhat We're Looking For:
At least 1 year of general maintenance experience Ability to perform cleaning, repairs, and routine maintenance duties Strong communication and customer service skills Compassionate, respectful approach when interacting with older adults Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, climbing stairs, pushing, and pulling Valid Massachusetts driver's license with satisfactory driving record Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively Why Join Youville?
