The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, demonstrating proficiency in various building techniques and tools. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site. Duties Execute construction projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Perform residential and commercial painting using various techniques including airless paint spraying. Conduct plastering, caulking, and stucco work as needed for project completion. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as carpentry, fixture installation, and concrete finishing. Engage in renovation and remodeling activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols on the construction site. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals within deadlines. Skills Proficient in construction estimating and basic math for project calculations. Knowledge of color theory relevant to painting projects. Experience with various types of painting including industrial painting and restoration. Strong skills in carpentry including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and masonry. Familiarity with construction site experience is essential for navigating job sites safely. Ability to perform maintenance tasks as required during projects. Welding skills are a plus for specific building needs. Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for diverse project requirements.
