Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our residential properties. This role is responsible for completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, responding to resident requests, and ensuring properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and corrective maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and appliance repairs Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner while maintaining high customer service standards Prepare apartments for move-ins and turnovers, including inspections and repairs Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs and ensure building systems operate efficiently Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations Maintain common areas, grounds, and mechanical rooms in clean and safe condition Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local building codes Accurately document work performed and materials used Communicate effectively with property management staff and residents
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience in residential or property management environments preferred Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve maintenance issues independently EPA Certification and HVAC experience preferred but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time position On-call rotation required Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for overtime
