Opportunity:
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our buryport Maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance in and around the facility.
Location:
buryport, MA. This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment. Conduct routine facility maintenance
IE:
Trash clean up's, basic facility repairs and other needs per manager Perform some preventative maintenance on various
CNC's:
including but not limited to mill turn applications, and press/stamping machines. Handle basic repairs, light plumbing, and maintenance. Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Ability to use tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. Must be able to perform work subject to
ITAR/EAR
regulations 2+ years of experience in Facility Technician role, or related field. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to
ITAR/EAR
regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment. Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem-solving. Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Working Conditions:
Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Compensation:
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $28.00-33.00 hourly. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
