2nd Shift Maintenance Technician **Sign On Bonus $1,500**

1. SUMMARY Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipes for the company. This position requires the ability to accurately assess maintenance problems and suggest the appropriate course of action. 2.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 2.1

High school diploma or GED 2.2 Licensing and certification in activities of the company is desired, but not required 2.3 Trade school experience is desired but not required. 3.

SKILL REQUIREMENT 3.2

Ability to follow all health and safety rules and regulations of the company. 3.3 Ability to work effectively with hand tools. 3.4 Ability to read, write and comprehend English language. 3.5 Basic math skills. 3.6 Ability to work in confined spaces. 3.7 Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). 3.8 Ability to constantly bend, twist, extend hands above head, etc., for at least 85% of the day. 4.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 4.1

One to two years experience in a manufacturing company's maintenance department. 5.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 5.1

Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, plumbing and piping functions. 6.

TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO 6.1

Inspect and test machinery, and equipment to manufacturer's specifications and requirements. 6.2 Diagnose problems with equipment and machinery necessary to determine repair or maintenance need. May communicate with the manufacturer to gain additional insights. 6.3 Work with other maintenance team members to gain and share knowledge. 6.4 Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. 6.5 Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery. 6.6 Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. 6.7 Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. 6.8 Repair and maintain physical structure of the establishment. 6.9 Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures. 6.10 Assist with electrical, plumbing and piping installations. 6.11 Monitor and regenerate deionizer water system. 6.12 Perform other duties as required.
