Starting at \$18.50 per hourJob Purpose:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of Assisted Living Community.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes daily work orders, written and verbal, as assigned by the Maintenance Director in a timely manner.
- Maintains and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
- Assists Director of Maintenance with department\'s Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Responds to minor requests by staff in a timely manner.
- Assists with maintaining the exterior and interior appearance of the building, i.e. snow removal, cleaning heating vents, etc.
- Maintains furnishings as directed by Maintenance Director.
- Accepts on call duties.
- Applies \"5 Star\" customer service approach in all aspects of job.
- Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Experience in building maintenance is required.
- Strong ability to set priorities and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
