Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY This position is primarily responsible for performing various machine maintenance duties to include, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Maintenance:

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Oversee preventative maintenance schedule and assure scheduled tasks are completed in a timely manner. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Must be able to work extended hours when required. Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.

Facilities Maintenance:

Responsible for assuring clean room is cleaned according to standard operating procedures on a weekly basis. Work with local contractors to assure facility repairs are met (electrician, HVAC, etc.). Other tasks as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. May require long periods of standing. Current shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. These hours are subject to change based on business needs.
