Job Description
Building Technician
Our client provides real estate solutions for government and defense contractors.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on building systems including plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems.
- Ensures all work performed meets required safety codes.
- Report modifications and repairs into CMMS.
- Operate HVAC systems and make adjustments to building automation systems (BAS or EMS or ATC).
- Monitor and perform quality control of subcontractors work to ensure that the agreed upon responsibilities of subcontractors is up to par.
- Maintain all tools, parts, and supplies in an organized manner. Job Requirements
- Required Skills and Experience
- Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or GED High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a top secret clearance with polygraph
- Must have a state certified Journeyman license
- Must have a Universal CFC certification
- Must have 5 years of experience working in commercial building maintenance
- Must possess a valid driver's license Preferred Skills and Experience
- MD 1st Grade Stationary engineer license or equivalent from another state
- Basic computer skills
