Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This vital role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex machinery, and ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance. You will be a key player in maintaining a safe, reliable, and productive environment by applying your technical skills and industry knowledge to support our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose control system issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime. Operate and maintain specialized tools such as precision measuring instruments, welding equipment (including <
LOCATION
> welding), scissors lifts, and low voltage systems. Manage work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service history. Collaborate with field service teams and provide technical support for complex repairs or installations. Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, industrial electrician practices, and low voltage electrical work to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance of machinery and equipment. Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including high voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and welding (specifically <
LOCATION
> welding). Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and micrometers accurately. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and inventory management. Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly. Field service experience is preferred; military background or related discipline is a plus. Fluency in English is required for effective communication across teams; customer service skills are valued when interacting with internal stakeholders or external vendors.
