We are currently seeking a Full-Time Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining beautiful floors and common spaces while working independently in a professional environment.
What You'll Do:
Perform routine floor care throughout the community Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, extractors, and scrubbers Strip, wax, buff, and refinish hard surface flooring Perform carpet cleaning and extraction as needed Complete floor restoration and special project work Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and resident spaces Respond to Environmental Services requests in a timely manner Maintain equipment and supplies in proper working condition Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures Assist with special events setup and cleanup as needed Why Join Ginger Cove? JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent. Two years' experience in floor maintenance preferred. Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe. Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and be tactful in dealing with others.
