Responsibilities As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include: Cleaning and maintaining CCTV camera systems. Replacing card readers and batteries as necessary. Learning and understanding access control systems and CCTV systems. Working with low-voltage systems and multimeters. Utilizing a variety of hand tools to perform job functions. Operating independently and demonstrating initiative in problem-solving. Participating in continued learning and skills development in the security field. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Preventative Maintenance Technician role has: A degree or certification from an electronics school or equivalent experience. Previous experience in security installation for home consumers. Experience in data cabling. Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. Proven ability to work independently and within a team. Authorized to work in the United States. A clean driving record and the ability to pass an FBI background check and drug test.
