Job Description

Suburban Hospital has an immediate opportunity for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic. We offer a stable work environment at a single location, true advancement opportunities and an outstanding benefits package including 403(b) retirement, paid time off programs, and tuition assistance for employees and dependent children. Non-exempt. Starting hourly rate is $22.75 to $37.53, based on experience (plus applicable shift differentials) As Preventative Maintenance Mechanic , you will: Performs functions in keeping with safe hospital and industrial standards and practices. Will be required to work a varied schedule in keeping with the time schedule of the availability of the equipment to be maintained.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED. Attendance at a trade school for in an electrical or HVAC program is preferred.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
1 year of experience in preventive maintenance preferred; experience in a hospital a plus.
Salary Range:
Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
