The Maintenance Technician will work with PLC‑controlled machinery, upgrade systems, and handle essential repairs. This role is ideal for a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills looking to grow within a stable company. Maintenance Technician Qualifications Thorough knowledge of PLC‑controlled machinery Electrical maintenance and equipment modification experience HMI experience preferred Mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC exposure Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and instructions Valid driver's license; able to lift 50 lbs EPA certification preferred, not required Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment, focusing on electrical and PLC systems Upgrade relay logic to PLC controls Maintain the facility's TPM program Service HVAC units, compressors, furnaces, dust collection systems, dehumidifiers, and lighting Assist with breakdowns and maintenance work orders Support facility modifications and project tasks Perform occasional local pickups for materials Maintenance Technician Work Environment Primarily indoor, temperature‑controlled Occasional outdoor work (HVAC, compressors, snow removal) May require working in confined spaces or elevated areas Frequent walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs in Delaware (DE)•New Castle, Newark, and Wilmington.
