Edgemere Event Decor Installer / Handyman Assistant June 11th, 14th & 15th Very Bespoke Events Edgemere, MD Job Details Contract $17 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Moving Warehouse experience Power tools Truck loading and unloading Full Job Description Very Bespoke Events is currently hiring Event Decor Installers, Decor Assistants, and Handy Men/Women for an upcoming luxury wedding event in the Edgemere/Baltimore area. We are specifically looking for individuals comfortable with hands-on setup work, lifting heavy décor, installations, moving large structures, and assisting with event production. This is a physically active role and ideal for: Handymen/women Event installers Decorators Production crew Warehouse/event setup workers Construction or staging assistants
Upcoming Event Dates:
June 11 June 14 (actual event date) June 15
Responsibilities:
Hanging acrylic signage and escort displays Using power tools for installations Moving large escort walls and décor structures Loading/unloading trucks Carrying heavy candle boxes and sand wax containers Setting up drapery and event décor Assisting with event breakdown and cleanup
Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs Comfortable with physically demanding work Reliable transportation required Must be dependable and punctual Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Team player and quick learner
Additional Notes:
Preferably local to Edgemere or nearby Baltimore areas. We only pay for active working hours, not downtime in between event phases. There may be periods where you'll leave and return later — for example between reception setup and end-of-night breakdown — so being nearby makes scheduling much easier. Experience with tools, installations, décor setup, staging, warehouse work, or event production is strongly preferred.
