• Contribute to a vital industry while ensuring the smooth operation of production processes. What's a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You'll be:
• Performing general facilities preventative maintenance, including greasing bearings, changing oil, tensioning and lubricating chains, and replacing worn or broken parts.
• Coordinating with production staff to minimize disruptions to the production schedule.
• Keeping accurate records of completed work to ensure efficient operations. This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in machinery and building maintenance, with a preference for prior experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold, damp environment (approximately 40 degrees).
• Possess basic skills in troubleshooting, using manuals and schematics to diagnose problems and make repairs.
• Have flexibility to work during off hours and/or weekends and own your own hand tools.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have good organizational skills, including record keeping and following directions.
