Maintenance Technician

Aerotek is currently hiring for maintenance mechanics in the greater Jessup, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties: Job Description Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production machinery and equipment including but not limited to conveyors, gear boxes, motors, packaging machinery, etc. Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment. Complete assigned work orders and interface with production personnel in troubleshooting or design improvements. Rebuild and fabricate parts as required. Assist in the installation of new equipment. Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory. Essential Skills Prior manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience. Basic welding and fabrication skills a plus. Ability to read manufacturers' documentation and parts schematics. Basic computer skills. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
