Position Overview:
Dirty Ducts is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional Air Duct Cleaning Technician Manager to lead our field operations team. This position combines hands-on technical work with team leadership, customer service, and job-site management. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in HVAC systems, comfortable working in a variety of environments, and capable of managing technicians while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. As the primary point of contact on job sites, this individual must possess strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform residential and commercial HVAC air duct cleaning services. Perform residential and commercial dryer vent cleaning services. Follow established company procedures and cleaning protocols for HVAC and dryer vent systems. Supervise, train, and manage a team of two field technicians. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during service appointments. Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly and professionally. Troubleshoot field issues and develop effective solutions to job-site challenges. Conduct system inspections and identify deficiencies, safety concerns, or maintenance needs. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and service reports. Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and specialized cleaning equipment. Uphold a professional appearance and positive company image at all times.
Qualifications Required:
HVAC experience or strong working knowledge of HVAC systems. Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Comfortable working from extension ladders and rooftops. Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, mechanical rooms, and other confined spaces. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Preferred Experience in air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, HVAC service, restoration, construction, or related trades. Knowledge of HVAC components, airflow principles, and ventilation systems. Experience training or mentoring employees. OSHA safety training or related certifications.
