Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep of residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of facilities. Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues. Complete work orders for repairs and maintenance in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours calls when scheduled. Ensure compliance with safety standards and residential policies. Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and tools. Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and departments.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred. 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a related trade. Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and instruction manuals. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.

VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION.

Experience being a Maintenance Technician in residential buildings. HVAC Experience.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position, typically Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call shifts or emergency response duties as needed.

Working Conditions:

Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Daily interaction with residents.
