Full-Time Maintenance Tech Needed 40 High Street, Bangor, ME 04401 $18 an hour - Full-time $18 an hour - Full-time We're hiring a maintenance tech at Bangor Home Rentals. $18/hr to start. The more you learn, the more you make. Perfect for younger who are interested in working hard and learning under licensed tradesmen. We're a family-owned company that takes care of hundreds of apartments across Bangor, Brewer, Hermon, Hampden, Old Town, Orono, Ellsworth, and Hancock. All our maintenance is done in-house — our own carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and crew. We don't sub it out. We're hiring a full-time maintenance tech to join the crew. What you'll actually be doing Mowing lawns in the summer, shoveling and plowing in the winter Painting, inside and out Apartment turns: cleaning, painting, small repairs, getting units ready for the next tenant Whatever else the day throws at you across our buildings You'll work alongside licensed carpenters and electricians. That's the part most ads miss: this is a job where you learn a trade. We'd rather train someone up than hire someone finished. The more skills you pick up, the more we pay you. What you get $18/hour to start, with raises as your skills grow Full-time hours 401(k) Five paid holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas The honest stuff You'll occasionally need a car, but typically if you're riding with one of our techs you'll have access to a work vehicle (during working hours only). You'll be on your feet, outside in Maine weather, doing real physical work. Some days are clean and easy. Some days you're hauling junk out of a unit someone trashed. Family-owned means decisions happen fast. No corporate playbook. If something needs doing, we do it. What you need Valid driver's license Your own cell phone (we use an app for clock-in and updates) Show up on time and want to learn If you've done construction, landscaping, painting, janitorial, farm work, or anything where you used your hands all day, you can do this job.
