Job Description
Pay:
$26 per hour Monday-Friday Seasonal, 40 hours per week The Woodlands Club is a private, member-owned country club. We take pride in our incredible buildings and services. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II to help maintain and perform preventative maintenance on our equipment and facilities. We have a commercial kitchen, in-door/out-door pools, tennis, and golf. The Facilities Technician is responsible for strategic and preventative maintenance of buildings and facilities equipment. This position requires general knowledge in the fields of building components, heating systems, cooling systems, envelope systems, electrical, and plumbing.Job Duties:
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Complete routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, pumps, building equipment etc.,.
- Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisor determining work requirements.
- Identifying and reporting code issues, safety concerns, or issues of importance to the attention of immediate supervisor, in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of completed work.
- Ensure compliance with club standards, safety protocols, and all local/state regulations.
- Complete all work in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting; use correct application techniques and tools; make sure all surfaces, equipment, and materials are clean when finished.
- Adhere to all The Woodlands Club policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of previous experience in Maintenance, or similar/related field, required.
- Strong communication skills, member-focused mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to bend, pull, lift, stoop, walk, stand, and work overhead.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Driver's license, required, as traveling may be required.
