Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are a well established Family Owned real estate management firm with over 50 years of experience. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our apartment communities in the Lewiston, ME area. Responsibilities :

You must have a valid driver's license and reliable travel to be able to move between properties.

• On-call services required for emergencies and/or lock-outs during nights, weekends, or snow storms
• Candidate should be experienced in all aspects of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical and minor carpentry work.
• Participate in all maintenance projects, cleaning, trash removal and grounds work as needed.
• Assist with the apartment turnovers and annual inspections
• Repair various types of doors, windows, floors, appliances, roofs, ceilings and cabinetry
• Provide accurate record keeping of work completed and all required reporting systems

Requirements:

• Two (2) years' experience performing building maintenance and repair work preferred
• Ability to read and understand manuals, and understand building codes
• Familiarity w/carpentry/electrical/plumbing tools
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
