Job Description

We're looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You'll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Compensation:
$25 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs Take additional maintenance requests as assigned Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule Demonstrates superior customer service Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed Loading and unloading building materials and tools Being compliant with all health and safety regulations Following instructions and completing work orders online
Qualifications:
Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent Over 2 years of maintenance experience Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical Ability to work independently and with other team members Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues Desire to provide excellent customer service A sense of pride in your work Ability to communicate well with people Clean driving record and valid driver's license Physical requirements include a frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects Part of the on-call rotation Must have own tools About Company Come join Maine's fastest-growing real estate management firm.
