Position Summary Maebeth Property Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Weekend Maintenance Tech to join our team in Trenton, ME. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys the variety that comes with maintaining vacation rental properties. You'll be the go-to problem solver for our guests and property management team, handling everything from quick fixes to routine inspections across our portfolio of homes. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, hydraulic components, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues utilizing precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and the Myrinn team Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs, including: Plumbing issues (toilet clogs, leaks) Electrical problems (outlets, switches, light fixtures) Basic HVAC troubleshooting Appliance resets and light repairs Furniture and fixture fixes Conduct property walk-throughs and report damages or concerns Coordinate with external vendors for larger repair needs Maintain inventory of basic tools and materials Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and internal teams Required Qualifications 1 year of professional experience as a handyman, property maintenance tech, or similar Broad range of home repair skills Must have own tools and reliable transportation Ability to respond quickly to service calls (same-day or next-day) Self-motivated, organized, and respectful of occupied or guest-ready homes Clear communicator; able to report issues and document work Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate $25 - $35 per hour Benefits Paid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days
