Job Description

Express Employment of Monroe is assisting a client seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their Addison plant. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring production and support equipment run smoothly—performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related repairs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair production and support equipment to manufacturer specifications (electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems). Perform preventive maintenance and equipment refurbishments. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, structural, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Fabricate and modify parts using hand tools, drill presses, saws, and mills. Identify and order repair or replacement parts as needed. Maintain maintenance records and documentation. Operate forklifts and arc welders as needed. Support production and process improvement efforts. What We're Looking For 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/PLC troubleshooting). High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or journeyman card preferred. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills. Familiar with lockout/tagout, PPE, and safe work practices. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in a manufacturing setting. Positive team player with good communication and organizational skills.
Schedule & Pay Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM -Overtime may be required.
Pay Rate:
$26-28 per hour (based on experience)
