In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that all facilities are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more, to deliver top-quality craftsmanship consistently. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation, painting, flooring, roofing, masonry, and fixture installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Manage construction site activities including concrete forming, finishing, stucco application, restoration work, hardscape installation, glass and cabinet installation, door hanging, trim carpentry, caulking, tile laying, and remodeling projects. Estimate project costs using construction estimating techniques and manage materials procurement. Collaborate with team members to coordinate construction management efforts ensuring timely project completion. Maintain detailed records of work performed and report progress regularly to supervisors. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Experience Proven experience in construction or handyman roles with a strong background in multiple trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry), roofing, masonry (concrete finishing), welding, flooring installation (including tile), plastering, fabrication or restoration projects. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential for precise project execution. Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment (such as forklifts or excavators), and specialized machinery related to construction tasks. Knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling and site supervision is preferred. Ability to perform detailed inspections on construction sites to ensure quality standards are met. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to electrical work (including wiring), plumbing systems (including fixture installation), concrete forming/finishing, stucco application, caulking techniques, glass installation, cabinet mounting or remodeling projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
