As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will be responsible promptly and safely performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs minor maintenance repair work in one or more of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, office remodeling and or/paint Execute building maintenance including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles and door knobs Repair locking systems on doors, files, cabinets and lockers Travel from the plant to the UHT Distribution Center to inspect facilities, buildings and grounds for routine maintenance; prioritize repairs and renovations as assigned Resolve all assigned work orders at each facility Follow Good Manufacturing Practices Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc Communicates effectively with maintenance supervisor Demonstrates problem solving and decision making ability, as needed Other duties as assigned or required
