Job DescriptionProvide maintenance support and repairs to production machinery and facility for a 24 hr./7-day manufacturing operation. Additionally, performs the duties of Facilities Support as required.
Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
QualificationsEDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)Mechanical and/or Electronic courses (preferred)EXPERIENCETypically requires four to five years' experience or equivalent education.
Strong mechanical aptitude and conscientiousness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience using Windows based PC applications.
Experience with electronics and pneumatics.
Intermediate electrical troubleshooting on AC / DC circuits with multi-meter.
Basic root cause analysis skills should be demonstrated.
Demonstrated ability to work with saws, drills, cutters, grinders, torches, welders, and other fabrication equipment as needed.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESMaintaining compliance with changing OSHA regulations.
Repair machines immediately, or prepare a work order due to the complexity of the work.
Have working knowledge of lock out tag out and hot work permits procedures. Ability to understand and follow verbal and simple written instructions.
Handheld Multi-meter for AC / DC electrical circuits.
Requires continuous communication with Team Leaders and Managers to update status and align equipment priorities.
Communication with suppliers, customers (internal and external), and corporate engineering is required.
Demonstrate the ability to determine quality or safety failures from machine troubleshooting.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays. Additional InformationThesalary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $20.00 - $23.00/ hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs.

Production Support:
Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests on the production floor. Train production technicians in the proper set-up and copy troubleshooting techniques. Provide training and assistance to production technicians as needed to help maximize production output and minimize downtime through the utilization of proper production techniques and handling practices.Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Effectively diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems in assigned area (facility, machinery, equipment, etc.) Make timely and accurate repairs, as necessary, during production Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.Preventative Maintenance:
Inspect machinery for potential problems on a daily basis. Documents problems and schedules work/repairs as appropriate. Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan. These activities will be recorded using proper PM sheets.Housekeeping/Other:
Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up, machine, and equipment clean-up, sweeping up after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned.Administrative:
Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory. Inform Supervisor of parts and equipment used from inventory. Record maintenance activities using the proper computer application or paperwork. Other duties as assigned.Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
